Today the parish of Creggan, Ballymasanlan Union and Rathcor covers 240 square miles. It once had 7 resident
clergy and several curates. Today there is one priest covering the equivalent 8
catholic parishes. Within the parish group five churches have been closed and
sold for other uses and one leased to the community. - Forkill,
Jonesborough, Meigh, Omeath,
Carlingford, Greenore. Why
do you think the local protestant population along the border has declined to
